The Winter Ball room 1

With every rotation that set Delfina's vision facing east, she could see Lizzy continuing to dance with the man from earlier. Perfect! Once they had gotten through enough of the crowd, then she could--
Wait. How was she supposed to stop the spinning of a 8'1 librarian?
Uh oh.
She would have to orbit Lizzy for a while until she could shout/explain the situation and request assistance. Upon trying to change course however, Delfina's foot caught on the edge of a small pit hole-- WHO PUT THAT THERE!? --causing her to fall, bringing Lionheart down as well. Their wipe-out lasted a good ten feet, leading to their final causalities of the night: Lizzy Miller and her partner.

(Pits are apparently part of the traps and pranks set up at the ball, so says the event journal on dA)

Blue eyes beamed as she watched the Hufflepuff fall down with her partner in crime,
"GO LIONHEART TAKE THEM DOWN!" She giggled loudly. She continued around dodging in out of the crowd her cape flowing lightly. This year her pranks were much better than the last. She made way to the concessions to add more potion to the punch.


Jynx stood by the wall with a blank expression. She had only come due to Lizzy pestering her in the dorm and her cousins saying as a representation of their family she had to go. she looked at her black and gold dress with a heavy sigh. She really wanted to wear violet again but that dress had too many memories. She watched the librarian head down with one of her housemates with a heaved sigh. "I don't want to stay here..." she thought.

"Ah huh?" Ares began to rock the two of them back and forth slowly, as if daring her to fall asleep...

The Librarian gave a thumbsup to the Gryffindor as well as a smug smirk, this was honestly too much fun! Brushing off the dust, he/she picked himself/herself up and helped the other students up, asking, "Are you alright, Mr Maximilian and Ms Miller~?"

Argos was keeping one hand to the wall and sincerely hoping that he wouldn't bump into anyone. His walking stick had been stolen early on in the evening and he suspected that the same someone was out to make sure he had some trouble. Hearing a heavy sigh nearby, he asked aloud, "Uh, hello? Are you alright?" (to Jynx)

Jynx Looked to the boy beside her; she recognized him as the blind squib she had seen the trouble maker with often, "I am fine." She responded softly not daring to force her voice in the racket, "You seem to be in trouble though." She observed, "Do you require assistance?"

The Meance giggled secretly pouring some of the potion in the punch but only a small amount as she saw her father watching from where he stood with the other teachers and he was giving her his, Knock it off or I am punishing you look. Which would mean she'd be loosing her garden privileges, again.

She wasn't going to fall asleep that easily...but closing her eyes a bit wouldn't hurt right? She closed her eyes as they moved slowly. "...Pft...I'm not gonna fall...asleep..."

"Mhm?" He kissed her forehead again, he wasn't in a rush. They rarely had time to do this kind of couple-ly thing.

"Ah, perhaps... Do you see Gleek Jack anywhere? Twin tailed menace, about this tall--" he gestured with his hands, Gleek was still shorted than him by a few inches, "--blue eyes, probably out making some trouble in the ball?"

Jynx's blank eyes scanned the room for the blind boy to find the person he sought, "The punch bowl I think it's her beside it. She's putting something into if I'm not mistaken. She does seem to be getting a nasty glare from Professor Jack though..." The albinoid girl sighed again.

Gleek grinned as she dissapaered under the table to check the rigging of the trap pits she set up.

She started to hum a bit as they moved , only teasing herself to drift into sleep. Why did she get tired so easily? One thing she would never understand. Although she did love sleeping , whenever her nightmares weren't giving her a hard time of course.

He began to hum with her, trying to harmonize (though the tune was unfamiliar to him).

Argos sweatdropped, "Guess that means no one should touch the punch..." He chuckled nervously, "Ah, I'm Argos Wong, who might you be?" This girl (he assumed it was a girl, a boy didn't sound like this...or was this helpful, generally speaking) seemed to enjoy sighing.

Gleek hummed under the table pulling a lever to open a few pits.

"Jynx Karm." She answered in a sigh, "She did this last year I believe. Rigging the whole dance. I was caught into a net." She crossed her arms lightly acorss her stomach.

She chuckled slightly at his attempts , no one knew this melody. Only her , her younger brother and her passed Mistress of course. A small tear formed on her eye as she kept humming , not letting it escape through her cheek. She recalled that woman's voice a long with the melody , just to end up recalling how the woman had died. She pushed that thought aside , somehow she always managed to find a way to make herself sadder.

Ares kept trying, though there were no repeats or ascending chords that he could possibly follow up with. He kissed her forehead gently again, murmuring, "I 'agapo."

"A net, really?" Argos frowned a bit, that wouldn't be good for girls in dresses... "Actually...it sounds too quiet right now..."

If Gleek had set up pranks for the entire ball, chances are that something big was about to happen soon...

Lizzy noticed a familiar girl. so~ she carefully snuck behind her and pulled her into a hug. "hiya Jinxy~<3"

She greeted with a smile on her face.

"......Wo ai ni...~" she whispered back. As she let her mind cloud the memories that seemed to haunt her. She would pay them attention later.

Sir Lionheart helped Delfina up, grinning gleefully at the destruction he/she and the younger Hufflepuff had caused together! He/She extended his/her hand again, "Care for another dance, Ms Rossi~?"

Ares pulled his girlfriend closer into a tighter hug, there seemed to be something weighing on the other's mind...

Argos smiled a bit at hearing Lizzy's voice, glad to know that Jynx wasn't alone in the vast Great Hall.

They had all gone down like dominoes. Lizzy would've been proud, Delfina was sure.
Except the older Hufflepuff had already left the scene of the crime by the time Delfina was standing again, helped up by Sir Lionheart. ONE deadly dance was more than enough, and this time Delfina was ready to decline.
"Sorry Sir, but I've got to go...and meet up with a friend right about now. Thanks for the dance!" no sooner had she finish talking did she turn around to reenter the recovering crowd.
Meeting up with Lizzy had been a bust. She would have to find and regroup with other Hufflepuffs, or make progress in the plan by dancing with students from the other houses. Dancing with professors and librarians didn't count!

Some of the gruesome images popped into her head and the girl fluttered her eyelids from the surprise , some fear in her eyes. She recalled her Mistress' death over and over , like a broken record that kept repeating something unwanted to be heard. Bianka just kept her gaze low , as her bangs covered her face. Hopefully He wouldn't see the tears that where streaming down her face.

"Right right~" Still smirking (with a touch of "evil" in the smirk), Lionheart proceeded to grab another Slytherin student into a dance!

Even if he could see the tears, he could still feel them through his thin formal clothing. "Bianka...why are you crying?"

Argos was left alone. He assumed that the girl named Jynx had gone off with that louder friend of hers.

"....s-sorry..." she muttered wiping some of her tears.

Feeling her cheeks turn slightly pink at the offer Claudia gave him a small nod “I would be quite happy to.”
Although she would no doubt be quite happy to just stand around as well…

Smiling, he lead them into a slow step waltz; they rarely got such a chance to themselves.

Ares hugged her closer to him, whispering a question in her ear, "What's wrong?"

"Whoa!" Argos was knocked down by someone. Was the other person in a hurry?

Unable to hold back a smile as she could leave the dance to what her body already knew Claudia couldn't help but to look up at her partner, studying his face... Who would have thought happiness could come with so little...? Just one person there at she could call this perfect...

"....I-It's.......nothing..." she muttered , attempting to force her tears to stop. Not that she was having any luck,

THE SWITCH HAPPENED.

((As in, Claudia's now wearing Delfina's dress, Ares is in a dress and Bianka's in his martial arts formal and Lionheart is probably flashing people in a dress.))
