Exploring the Castle

((Indeed. But the chatrooms have been empty lately, eh?))

Marik bumped into his fellow Gryffindor, holding a stack of books taller than he could see like usual. Luckily, he managed to keep his balance and kept most of his books from falling, "S-Sorry about t-that!"

((yeah, at least on the times I'm in (which doesn't say much XD))

"Hey, watch it!"
Grabbing the blind boy and yanking him out of the way of the falling books Freya couldn't help but to glare at the one she'd call guilty
"Again? Honestly, how many times a day do you compleate that falling-book-trick? Isn't there something called 'trial and error' that'll teach you something about what's ging to happen?"

((Hrm...guess so? |D; ))

Argos yelped as he was yanked back, hearing heavy thuds hit the ground that their feet were resting on, "Urk! W-Was that some books that fell...???"

He fixed his glasses looking apologetic and nervous at the shouting, "S-Sorry Williams, a-and sorry, friend..." He put his stack of books on the ground and picked up the ones that fell. "I can't really see with all of these piled up so high..."

Freya was still feeling all but sorry for the boy; not even she was that stupid!
"You know, even First Years learn a spell to levitate stuff, so unless you failed that year spectacurlarly or is some kind of squib, I do wonder why you need to carry them like that in front of you face! Use a barrel or whatever you want to if you don't like magic, or just take more turns carrying less if you're so stubborn and actually need all of those, but you're putting other students in danger of getting hit when you walk around like this, and that's just selfish!"

Hearing silence, Argos started to feel sorry for the other boy (seeing that Freya wasn't being very sympathetic and he was...Canadian [aka, too nice for his own good]), "Maybe it's a habit, Freya. Not everyone's from a halfblood family, right? He probably reads just as much at home and his parents are muggles right?" All he knew from living with his pureblood family (occasionally) is that they'd carry their books around by hand as well...

Marik had shrunk as Freya scolded him, but hearing the asian boy talk, he started to wonder if it was that obvious about his parentage, "Habit...yes...Um..." He shouldn't say anything about his parents...how they hated him having magic, "I-I'll be more careful, W-Williams. Ah...um..." He tried to hurry away, he was no good in these kinds of situations.

Freya sighed and shook her head
"Well, I guess that as long as you'll keep on trying to get better, that'll have to do. Just get yourself a trolley or something, one day you'll break your whole face falling like that, and trust me; it hurts like hell."
kneeling down she began picking up the books, wondering what kind of boring life this guy had of he read all of this...

"I-I'm fine with it..." He tried to take the books from Freya and nearly dropped all the ones he was holding. "U-Um...c-can you just...s-stack them...on top...please...?"

But Freya only shook her head “No can do. I’m gonna take these and make sure you don’t trip again.”
Standing up she held the books with one arm while offering the other to pull the boy up on his own two feet

"A-Alright then..." Marik muttered as he picked himself up off the ground. "I-I'm just heading to the common room, s-so..."

"You lead the way."

hooking an arm around the blind boy's so she could make sure he didn't walk into more stuff Freya settled on follow the little clutz, holding at least some of her books so he could see where he was going... Why did she feel like she was taking care of more than one blind person right now...?

Argos felt his arm being in contact with something else, "Hm? So we're all heading to Gryffindor tower?" Admittedly, he was planning to head there at first, but was he even allowed in there?

"Seems so. Unless you've got anything better to do you just hang on and tag along."
She hoped she wasn't walking to fast for him now...

Marik walked back to the common room with Freya and Argos, he was nervous about them helping him (he was afraid of Freya).

After entering the common-room (and mind you, making sure that the blind guy didn't trip through it was quitea task!) Freya simply dumped the bookpile she was carrying on a table
"Well, there you go."

Argos was set on the couch in front of the table, he vaguely noted that it was warmer...probably the fire place, he assumed.

He quickly thanked his helpful housemate and ran to his room to drop off the books in his arms. Then he returned to get the ones she was holding and escaped back into his dorm, hiding away from the other two without another word.

skaing her head at the boy's behaviour, calling it too clear that he was a coward, Freya sat down in an armchair to just rest...

Argos wondered what he was supposed to do in the Gryffindor common room.

yawning in her armchair Freya was soon more asleep than awake, not even notcing when her rat trotted over to inspect thenew pair of shoes by the sofa... So how could she scold him when he treied out how the shoelaces tasted?

Argos heard some scurrying and wondered if it was a pet of one of the Gryffindors. Surely it wasn't anything dangerous, right?

Decioding that this stuff was not something worth chewing on Smurf instead got out in front of the boy and stood up with his frontpaws on his knee; he could get up himself if he wanted to, but he was lazy and would rather be helped...

"Hm?" He felt paws on his knees, was it a rat? It felt a bit sharp...maybe a small cat?
