"I always make time for the younger creatures! That's my job!"

If there was one thing Professor Jasmine Wong was serious about: it was magical creatures.

"You sure? I'd be happy to help you if you just tell me what to do, Sir."
Please don't take him, please please please! She could be good with something besides rats and bludgers, she was sure of it!

She blinked in surprise, "If you're sure you're up to it, Williams! Of course you can take care of him." She smiled as she handed the owlet back to the eager Gryffindor.

Rames had not started to make a fuss.

...Yet.

Unable to hold back a small giggle in joy Freya finally had the little bird in her hands again
"Thank you Sir! I'll take good care of him, I promise!"

"Good, if he's mistreated: I'll know it in a heartbeat!" She narrowed her eyes and tried to look mean (it wasn't very effective) when Rames started to struggle against his bonds again. "Alright alright, just wait a teensy bit longer Rames." She stuffed another handful of sugar cubes into his mouth.

"Yes Sir! I'll do anything you say, Sir! Just say what has to be done and I'll make sure of it, Sir!"
Her dad would surely laugh and just be proud of her way of 'talking'... he'd made sure long ago that she had the strength in voice of any military commander (or singer maybe?), so by now surely half of the Great Hall was watching them...

"Hah, ten points to Gryffindor! But if you break your promise: I'm taking a hundred points away ene;"

"Yes Sir! So... is there anything I should know right now before i go get a book about owls?"
One could earn points like that? Freya had no idea... But she liked this professor more and more!

"Hm, you could find a few in the library. Just ask Sir Lionheart to give you a helping hand or two."

"Okay, thanks Professor!"
With a small bow and a wave the gryffindor hurried off again, carefully placing the owl in her scarf again, ignoring that it was getting a bit to warm to wear it indoors...

Rames was quickly ushered out of the castle, though he was just as fast to retort that he can't return to his herd all tied up like some sort of savage animal.

Soon at the library, barely giving time to greet the people she knew as she ran past them, Freya hurried inside and for once started looking for the librarian (since that was what Professor Wong had tolder her to)

"Good afternoon Ms Williams." Sir Lionheart popped up from behind her, "How may I help you~?"

"I need a book or two about owls, Sir. Especially how to take care of small ones, if you could please?"
now she could just hope that he didn't see that she had actually dragged the animal along in here...

With a flick of the wrist, at least ten books were summoned straight out of their shelves, "Might you know the species of that owlet in your scarf Ms William~?"

"Um, no... but maybe one of the books can tell." because what else was book for?
